Fast pick attack amp

Hi everybody.. I would have an advice about this question.. I m a great bogner amp fan especially the uberschall which is in my most used patch.. Gigging with my fm3 i ve been impressed by the plexi lead sound in the sense of responsivness in the pick attack which i read is typical of Marshall amps.. Is it possible to match it with the uber? Increasing master volume? Input drive? It is already boosted in the preamp.. Thanks

Bogner's are notoriously "slow" due to the low B+ voltage. Main reason I can't get along with them. You can try increasing the Variac.

Thank you.. Alternatives in the hi gain territory whith modern sound and that Marshall caratherostic? Cae3+ preamp?

CAE3+ would be a good one to try. Higher B+ (about 50% IIRC). Cameron would be another.

You can also try the Friedman BE and HBE models together with IRs of Celestion Greenback Speakers. This combination has a fast and percussive pick attack.

What about the slo 100? Asking for smooth liquid lead with fast attack plexi style..

The Komets and Trainwrecks have a fairly fast attack. I wish the Fast/Gradual switch on the K60 was modeled.
