FAS Class-A is...Even Better than the Real Thing

I'd be curious what Cliff's take on an AC30 would be since as mentioned above the FAS Class A doesn't really sound like a Vox. I read that his favorite AC30 style amp is the Morgan AC20.

And for me the amp models list on the wiki is pretty good, could sometimes use a little more info but in general it's great.

The problem with the AC that many don’t like is the ghost notes and crossover distortion switching the power from AC to DC supply removed that , I think that’s what the idealized FAS class A does

Ya know, that's just rude.

A lot of effort has gone into the wiki, it's awesome, and there's a lot of detailed info in there.

Fractal does have manuals too, but they cover different things.
Agreed, yek's amp guide is a fabulous resource. Where I would say there is a gap is the comprehensiveness of the manuals. There are a lot of parameters that either are not explained in the manuals or are given very cursory treatment. What I've found is that most likely, the best explanation for a given parameter is often only found in the firmware release notes or across multiple posts in the firmware discussion posts here.

Obviously you don't need to mess with most of these settings to get a great sound, but it seems a shame to invest development time into them and then not really document them for the user who doesn't actively follow firmware release threads here.
