Factory presets v 27.00, Fremen Edition (bank A + bonuses)

Now that firmware 27.00 is out of beta, here's the bank, with the presets re-saved in firmware 27.00, public version :cool:

thank you, this is so generous!

Is the idea with these simply to replace/overwrite the existing factory presets? I don't use them much, but maybe with the tweaks you've described I would be more inclined to check them out.

Been looking to take a walk through the factory presets again and this will make that stroll much more pleasant! Thanks for the contribution to the Fractal community!!

Factory Presets v 27.00, Fremen Edition - Axe-Fx III

Many Axe-Fx III users want updated Factory Presets for the latest firmware (currently 27.00, still in beta), as the last official factory presets were released with firmware 19.00. So, I decided to update at least the first 100+ presets, and more specifically, those focusing on an amp model. There's 128 presets in the bank file.

What's in there :

Presets 1-106 are factory presets in which I mostly fixed the levels. I also resetted some amps, where needed. Some presets needed a re-leveling, like the one (Petrucci Rig or the MK IV one, I'm not sure) where the clean USA scene could damage your speakers, as it is insanely loud ! I didn't want to touch anything else, as these are not my presets, but there's some occasional small tweaks, like lowering the gain in the Bogner Uber preset.

Presets 107-119 are my take on some of those factory presets. This time, my tweaks are more significant – for example, I changed the cabs (using Dyna-Cabs most of the time), tweaked the amp tonestacks, reverb and delay settings, added compression in some clean scenes etc. They're still not “my”presets, but much closer to what I would use, without changing everything.

Presets 120-128 are bonuses : this time, they're 100% from me, but using factory cabs instead of my own custom made IRs (I still prefer my own IRs, of course) :
Fremen Amp Pack 5153” is one of my “Amp Packs” presets ;
“Fremen 8 shades of Fried BE” is from my “Rock & Metal vol. 1” pack ;
Fremen Super Verb clean” is from my “Cleans, Ambient & SFX” pack ;
Fremen Refrigerator” is also from my “Cleans, Ambient & SFX” pack (inspiration : Michael Landau) ;
Fremen Fryette Deliverance 1” is from my “Rock & Metal vol. 2” pack ;
Fremen Revv Gen Purple 3” is from my “Rock & Metal vol. 3” pack ;
Fremen Dumble and Dumbler GoT” is a preset I shared for the Game Of Tones series, updated here to firmware 27.00 ;
Fremen Silly autotune” is from my “Rock & Metal vol. 1” pack, used on my latest video displaying the pitch shift block of firmware 27 ;
Fremen's Drones of Arrakis” is one of the Factory Presets I made, normally at the end of bank C, and updated to firmware 27.

The original versions of those presets, using my custom IRs, are available here : https://fremenpresets.com/
Awesome and Amazing!! Thank you so much

How do you import these to overwrite the existing patch numbers affected? I guess in the preset browser then drag them on top of 0-128.

Yes, use Fractal Bot for that. But maybe I should have included individual presets too ? I only included the bank file because it's quicker to install, and because the original factory presets are only available in that format

This is pretty great.

I'm curious the though whether the intention is to overwrite these banks?
The intention is to give an update to the original bank A, whose latest version was for firmware 19. As I wanted to update only the "amp" presets, not the special effects ones, I added my personal tweaks to some of the presets, plus some presets of my own
