External switches to change Scenes

I have scoured the web and the site to find out how to program external switches to change Scenes (1-4) to no avail. Hoping someone can help. I want to be able to do what I do with the Axe II and MFC and use an external switching box to change Scenes while still using the AX8s switches to change presets without using the "hold" function on the F switches.

Possible with an external MIDI controller (such as the MFC or MC6) but not possible with the pedal ports. You might be able to get one switch to work, but it will likely switch between Scene 1 and Scene 8 and not be adjustable.

You can use the ports for Scene Incr and Scene Decr, though (to scroll through scenes).
