Expression Pedal Setup help

Hello I’m having no luck setting up my expression pedal and wonder f someone could help. I’m using a Lehle. I’m not sure which of the inputs you use on the Lehle but I’ve tried all of them. I’ve been connecting with a warm audio trs to trs cable. Under setting I try to calibrate to pedal and it simply doesn’t calibrate. Does the Lehle perhaps not sync with the VP4?

The Lehle mono volume pedal isn’t an expression pedal — it’s a volume pedal. Normally, you can get a volume pedal to act like an expression pedal by using special cabling. But not the Lehle. Unlike most volume pedals, it’s not just a pot in a pedal. There’s extra circuitry there that prevents it from being used as an expression pedal

They recommend Fractal expression pedals but they seem to be out of stock on the website. Does anyone know if they are still being made or if they are discontinued?

I don't think they are discontinued, just out of stock AFAIK. Probably some kind of supply chain or manufacturing issue gumming up the works. I haven't seen any official word from Fractal on those. There's many other pedal options though. You need an expression pedal or at least a volume pedal with a dedicated expression output. You want one with a linear taper pot with a value anywhere between 10k and 100k ohms. Fractal uses the Boss/Roland style polarity of tip to wiper wiring using TRS jacks and cables.
