I'm trying to load the firmware .19 on my MFC but every time I get close to 70% I keep getting this Error. I'm using my midiman 2x2 anniversary and have tried it on both a mac(Snoize) and pc(midi-ox). In Midi-ox I configured the Sysex to 256 , 16 in both places and set the delay to 90ms. No Luck. I was able to upload FW.17 when I first got it just fine. I've got a gig tonight and will like to have this done soon. Any help will be much appreciative, Thanks!
 
Can't confirm ERROR 14 root cause, but "ERROR 18" appears to occur when the MFC is put into "update ready" state and your midi filer (SendSx in my case) is already open.
I never was able to upgrade to 0.19 using it..
Put the MFC in ready mode, opened MidiOX, opened the firmware file.
boom.. complete in about 90 seconds.
 
I also had problems (error 14) when using Bomes, which is odd as it always seem to work when doing firmware upgrades on my Axe.
I retried with Midi Ox and it worked with no problems.
