Where would that appear, as the unit is powered off?Why not implementing a useful feature with a countdown telling the user when the five seconds are over ? You can move that suggestion to the wish-list section if needed.

There has to be a way to automate this somehow. Maybe hookup a Raspberry Pi controller between FractalBot and the FM3's power supply. Have it monitor the status of the file, have a camera hooked up to read the FM3 screen to see when it's safe to power it off, and perform an automated power off function. Seems easier than having to wait around those 5 seconds.I open the top lid and look for capacitors to manually discharge. Seems more comfortable than waiting 5 seconds.
You wait 5 seconds to power it on, not to power it off though. There has to be a way to automate this somehow. Maybe hookup a Raspberry Pi controller between FractalBot and the FM3's power supply. yeah, just keep it simple...There has to be a way to automate this somehow. Maybe hookup a Raspberry Pi controller between FractalBot and the FM3's power supply. My vote is to incorporate a small hourglass style egg timer into the case. Turn off the Axe-Fx, flip it over, and when the sand runs out, turn everything back on. With a bit of practice, reading the front panel upside down shouldn't be too difficult.Where would that appear, as the unit is powered off?

well then...........do YOU wait 5 seconds???????Can't believe this thread's got 50+ responses
lol! well uh ... abedee-abedee-abedeee ... - my 60th birthday is approaching, so everything I do involves a 5+ sec latency - therefore I'm at low risk of upsetting Axefx reboot after update sequences.well then...........do YOU wait 5 seconds???????
I've gotten so used to slow counting to twenty, five is nothing.Yup! I always count to 5 intentionally more slowly then I normally would to make sure I don't count too fast
Pretty sure I'll get yelled at for your farts, too.My routine is as follows:
Update firmware
Switch off
Fart (which happens every 7-10 seconds according to my wife)
Switch on and rock out!
I told my wife about this thread and she laughed her ass off "you're deadass right!"Pretty sure I'll get yelled at for your farts, too.
