Display faded/ has lines going through it

Was playing my FM3 this morning without issue
Turned it on this afternoon and my display is now faded with display having lines through it, related or not , my guitar with passive pickups can't get sound through the FM3 , but my guitar with actives does ?
No idea what's going on here , I rolled back to 1.04 from 1.05 with no luck, maybe roll back further but unfortunately I'm worried this is a hardware issue
 
My Kemper remote did this once , and the contrast knob for display got turned down somehow , does the FM3 have a contrast setting for display as well I can try
 
Yes. In the settings on the FM3, not FM3 edit. Not sure which menu but Utilities would be a good start.
 
Ah I've found contrast for the FC , for the mini displays on the FM3 but no luck with main display lol
 
Screen is now working tempermentally without changing any settings lol I'm not sure what to think of this
 
there was some one that had the same issue with their axe fx 3 and I remember an administrator telling them the led/ lcd screen is bad to send it back to them.
