Display Contrast Issue with 10.5?

Haven't upgraded yet, but some people are reporting this, is it a known bug? Or just affecting a few people?

No issues here... loaded a number of Beta version too.. same - no issues!

I've experienced some strange lcd behaviour after loading 10.05. First I thought it was the sunlight that reduced the visibility (the darkness in Norway is over!), but I don't think so. Maybe there is an issue in 10.05?

Standing with the axe at my waist level with the contrast cranked to the right, the display is pretty light. I would expect it to be darker, and was darker on 9x. I'm on 10.2. And my axe is at a gig so I can't try 10.05 till tomorrow.

How is it possible to affect only some units?
