Dephase control in cab block question.

No, you just turn it up until it stops sounding better.

In my experience, some IR's doesn't benefit from using the de phase while some do. Depends on the IR itself.

phase will happen when you have a stereo sound source (Guitar cabs) hitting stereo microphones at a different times (milliseconds) adjusting with a phase tool
will give you a better stereo image and impact... this phase tool is so convenient and makes a huge difference in the mix IMHO... when I record with regular guitar cabs (not direct)I use a Little Labs IBP Junior.....
