Bug? Delay Block Tempo Bug?

I noticed an issue with the delay block tempo when switching channels on the control block. Tempo doesn't seem to be updating correctly.

When I use tap-tempo the current, active channel changes tempo correctly but if I switch to another channel something happens that causes the delay to use the previous tempo. If I then switch channels (back to the original, then back to the bugged channel) tempo, delay, everything seems to be fine.

The channels on the control block are all set to use Global tempo. This happens regardless of the usb cable being connected. The only time it updates as expected is when the delay block is selected in FM3 edit. See video (apologies for the playing).

Is there a hidden setting I'm overlooking? If not, is there a way to 'poke' an effect block into updating with a control signal or something?

Seems like a bug. Tap tempo updates all of the controller channels that are set to use Global Tempo. Any tempo driven effects should sync to that change. That's how the Axe III works.

Adding a simplified preset for this. Tested and the issue is present in Firmware 11.00

Steps to reproduce the bug:

1. Add a delay block to a preset.
2. Set the delay block to use tempo (any beat division).
3. Ensure control block channels are all set to global tempo.
4. Tap a tempo. Delay block will update to the new global tempo.
5. Switch to a different channel on the control block. Delay block will revert to the previous global tempo.

This issue is on the FM9 as well. Wanted to bump this, @Admin M@ @FractalAudio

It's like the Controller Block needs 'Scene Ignore' or something.

I just tested this on the FM9 and it worked fine. All I did was open a preset, set the delay tempo to 1/4, change controller block channels–setting each one to a different Tempo, and test.

I used it yesterday at church and it didn't work properly.

Here's the preset.

The goal is to use 1 preset, and change scenes w/o the tempo changing.

Figure I'd use Controller Block Channel A for Tempo 1 for song 1, while I change scenes throughout the song.
Then I'd switch Controller Block to Channel B for Tempo 2 for song 2, lather, rinse, repeat - all in the same preset.

Yes, the lack of scene ignore for the Controllers block prevents this as it will always go to a particular channel when you change scenes. OP seems to be describing a different issue BTW.

That's not the reported bug. OP is changing the tempo via tap tempo when the channels are all set to Global and they are not updating. Yours is a lack of scene ignore on the controllers block.

Edit: Bakerman beat me to it.

Apologies. Yes you're right, I read the post too quickly.

I added my request to the FM9 wishlist...

Back to the OPs potential Bug!

Just adding some info and a FW12 beta preset. Tried replicating the bug with the Multitap and Plex delay blocks and they also have the same behavior. Delay tempo only updates correctly if you're looking at the delay block in FM3 edit.
