I hooked up our friend Jon with an Axe yesterday as he needed something sweet sounding to rip off a few demos for Dean. I gave him the quick tour and a few hours later "voila!". I think we'll be seeing more of Jon.

Thanks for the kind words guys, and thanks again Tom for letting me take the Axe-FX for a spin.

I have to say, getting this thing up and running is a breeze. I plugged the stereo outs into my FireBox inputs, opened that backing track in iTunes, started going through presets and listening to how they sat in the mix. Landed on preset 43, set my levels and started recording the video in Photo Booth. I literally had this rig set up, recording done, video uploaded and live within 60 minutes of opening the box. Ran out of ideas half way through, but that's another matter.
