dbx DriveRack PX

I have used Drive rack PA and the 266 and they work pretty good for fixed installs and portable gigs when it comes to EQ'ing the room. They won't fix speaker issues so if that's your intention for using it with the Axe your better off getting a speaker that has been built correctly in the first place.

We use one with our PA to help with EQ and feedback suppression. Can't imagine needing that for just the AxeFx.

I'm thinking now this might not be necessary or a good idea.
Yes, to both.. The Driverack series is not designed for single speaker EQ'ing. They're designed as a signal processors for a FULL PA system, downstream from FOH.
If you have issues with your FRFR, the driverack's will probably be overkill.

I recommend avoiding putting another A/D/A converter after the axe-fx whenever possible.
I go into a digital mixing board, but I use the axe-fx AES output. Sounds great.

I have a driverack PA I used with my analog mixing board. I used it a few times when I went to a digital board, but that extra conversion made everything sound worse even though rates were matched.
