If you get an Axe II, I think you could buy a sm57 and pr30 for less than studio time would cost. Then you could even match another rig if you wanted.

Doesn't the tone-match take up the Cab in the chain? Isn't the tone-match basically acting as the IR?

YEs, but I was just pointing out that if he had ir's of his cab he probably wouldn't need to tone match

If you own the amp, a real time tone match will get you the best results.

You will get way more accuracy plugging into the amp and AxeFx II at the same time and tone matching that way.

i mean, whatever, but the Axe can cop those tones no problem without tone matching and studios and all that bs....

I used a schecter solo6 with sh11 custom custom SD pup.
Ts808 drive ->Recto 1 modern amp into recto 4x12 OH (built in) -> tone match block.
