Hi all,

I'm looking for a very,very compressed clean sound, kind of like Joe Satriani get on the song Not of this Earth.

I'have really no idea how to setup a compressor and which one to choose in the Axe.

Maybe one of you have an idea ?

Excellent sounds on that record. I would be interested in hearing ideas as well. I typically use Pedal 1, and play with the Sustain and Threshold settings by turning them up, and decrease the Level a little. I keep the Attack and Release short.
 
Give the compressor built into the amp block a whirl, it can have a similar vibe and only 2 parameters to worry about Comp threshold and output comp.
