Cliff.....what were the working names before Axe Fx name was chosen?

I will say that it can be difficult to verbally tell someone "Axe FX" if they've never heard of it before. "Fractal" is more easily discerned verbally without sounding like "Acid Fix" or "@$$ Effects." Plus, my band uses a the FM3, FM9, and Axe FX III so just saying that we use "Fractal Audio Systems" for our guitars is easier.

I'm still shocked how many people in the live music circuit haven't seen or heard of Axe FX. I get asked about mine regularly at shows, but I guess smaller DIY punk shows aren't the usual scene for modelers. I see more Kempers with the built in power amps.
