Clicking when adjusting Output 1

Greetings,

lately I have noticed that when I adjust my output 1 knob it sort of incrementally goes up but makes a faint "clicking" noise as if it were like an old rotary switch. The clicking isn't in the unit, its completely audible through the speakers. I haven't tried going directly into the axe and out yet but my setup is

Guitar - > GCX -> Korg D Tuner - > Axe II front input - > out 1 to power amp of 5150.

Ive had issues with midi cables before but I have 2 identical cables. Just wondering if anyone else has ever experienced it.

that is normal due to the digitally controlled encoders.

NOTE: 'The Axe-Fx II uses digital potentiometers to adjust the output levels. These actually contain hundreds of tiny resistors and switches. As such, some noise may be generated while adjusting the knobs
