Clean/Fix Jumpy Rotary Encoder?

Hey all! My Fm9 has been having some issues with the rotary encoder (big knob!) skipping/being jumpy. I thought it was at first my patch since i was a little high on CPU, but it seems to be happening with blank presets. I think something must have been spilled on it at a gig, or something?

Does anyone have any tips for cleaning the encoder? I don't want to damage my unit, but also would love to avoid having to ship it out to be looked at. Thanks!



The knob is being moved in this video only clockwise and at varying speeds

No worries. I'd do the same. This is one of those issues that doesn't come up much, and I'm guessing Support will have the quickest, most accurate response.

Now to see if I'm right.... ;)
