I got the privalage of meeting him at the UN centre in person today.
Manuel aka Piing is a member I got to know on this forum. I was stoked that he accepted to have a beer with me and that I would get a chance to talk to him.
The first threadpost I read from Piing was about a Fractal footcontroller he made from a
Binder . The bindercontroller thread is well known in the "third party midi controller" section and I used the code as the base code of my own controller. Today I got the chance to personally thank Manuel for his contribution.
Today Ive been told a great story:
While talking about stuff, I got to know that the Fractal forum we all participate in today is not the first origional forum.

Yes, the first forum started years before and was enthusiasticly started by Piing. It first started with a few members and this forum started to grow bigger and got more activities and attention. At some point boss Cliff joined as a member. Really cool story. Some years later the official Fractal Audio Forum was created and this origional forum was no longer actively used, so it was closed at some point.
Another great story:
The very first Fractal unit (the standard) ever to be imported to europe from the states was also by Piing when he still lived in Spain.
