Can I use my home theater sub?

My receiver just died leaving me with a reasonable PolkAudio PSW10 subwoofer. Can I plug this into the AxefxIII? It's got a RCA white & red that lead to a single RCA black input. The only thing on the back of the Axe is the SPDIF out. Has anyone tried something like this?

Trying to make lemonade out of lemons.

It will not work. SPDIF is a digital connection. The sub's RCA input is analog.

Even if you used an analog out of the Axe into the sub it will probably sound bad since it is designed to handle 35-200Hz.

I would use the subwofer just for chugga-chugga fun, or to listen movies from the computer with the Axe-FX as a sound-card, but not for tweaking guitar tones or mixing down with the DAW

You may have to use a 1/4" jack to RCA cable or converter at one of the Axe-FX auxiliar analog outputs. You can also insert a Hi-Pass filter block
