Can fx8 hold on Delay repeat?

Can fx8 hold on Delay repeat something like this at 0.12

I've tried to hold on repeat of the delay but repeat sound will increase the volume and not stable.

For that you could just use the looper?

The Hold in the Delay block responds differently to different configs.

With the Tape delay, it will easily kick into self oscillation. But it seems to hold repeats without volume issues when using the Mono and Stereo configs.

Increase the feedback level, but it tend sounds too metallic on fx8. We need upgraded delay sounds on upcoming firmware update.
