can AX8 do Global custom scales?

Moke has been kind enough to help me get started, but still have questions about intel. harmony on the Ax8

Found on the AX8 itself where to enter custom scales in the global menu. How do they actually get assigned on a Pitch block?

Can anyone point me to where I can figure out how to use these?

You need to use the Custom Shifter type to use the custom scales.

Then you can choose the particular scale for each of the two voices, and the key you're playing in.
