Can anyone match the solo tone of Satch on this vid?

Can not be matched with the ToneMatch block. The guitar is never alone/isolated.
I think these types of tones are easily achieved in the Axe-fx, though most of that is in Joe's hands. :)
 
You're mainly hearing the ambience of the room with this I think, I imagine the actual tone isn't actually much to write home about, probably the usual dark and compressed tone of the satch meister. FWIW, damn great sound. I saw Joe on his last few tours, no matter what he uses it always sounds that good on cryin'.
 
IMO, its the low register where Joe's tones really shine.

He gets amazing clarity and power on low notes.

Proper low end is the holy grail of distorted tones :) and quite difficult to get it as good as Joe and other top pro's.
