Cab-Lab help

What’s up Fractal! I’ve been thinking of getting Cab Lab 3 as an IR loader for my vst plugins. I don’t own an Axe Fx so I’m stuck with what I have (Neural DSP vst). Does getting Cab Lab and some Fractal cabpacks improve my tone if I already have all Ownhammer and ML soundlab packs?

You don't need Fractal cab packs to use Cab Lab.

You can use your OH and ML packs...

Ah sorry that my question was missleading. Does getting the loader with some fractal ultrares cabs make my tone better than using Ignite Libra with regular Ownhammer irs?

Hi,

The result, as usual, will depend on the cabs loaded in the plug-in, and what you do with them! (+ of course the quality of the IR Loader)
there are a lot of good things in the Ownhammer and Mikko CabPacks (and other IR makers like our good Dr Bonkers or York…),
whether it be in FAS .syx or wave.

From my point of view, this is a FAS specific product, with Cool tools to shape your FAS or Wave cabs.
If you are not using Fractal Gear, you can simply use the CabLoader of your choice, compatible with your cabs format.
