Cab-Lab 3 with FM9

The FM9 doesn't show up as a device to connect to. It shows up as an audio device, and the test button works. But I can't connect CabLab 3 to it. All other Fractal devices do show up, however. Don't know how to proceed here. Why is the FM9 the only device missing?

I don’t know if it was compatible I know CABL3 was discontinued I think prior to the FM9 being released
I think you have to use CabLab 3 , there was talk of smoothing being added to it but not sure
Best option if you need smoothing unfortunately remains using the AXE3

I can't afford the FM9 and the III, especially if my primary purpose for the III is to export smoothed IRs for the FM9. I'm trying to find ANY tool that will allow me to use smoothed IRs with the FM9. This looks bleak.
