The only thing about treating the FM3 like a piece of rack gear for me would be the tuner. I like the strobe style tuner on the nice color display better than the tuner display on the FC.

I prefer the tuner on my Axe III too and I’m sure I’ll like it more on the FM3 than I do on my FC-12 or 6 but the FC-12 tuner is mainly what I use now anyway. Our scrims cover our backline so once they’re up I can’t see my rig anyway.
