Cab block Preamp defaults to none?

Does this always default to none? How do you guys run yours? I'm not really finding much info on this. I'm using a Friedman Be VI with a 4x12 Fractal GB M160. Any advice on that one in particular?

it defaults to None. you don't need to use it. you can add it if you want.

Its just one of like 20 different spots where you can dial in a little tone shaping.

I used it a lot when it was introduced but honestly haven't messed with it in ages.
