Hello all,
So far I used FX8 in the simplest configuration: guitar>>FX8>>amplifier.
I've been experimenting with the 4cbl method for a few days
and I have the following problem with BYPASS:
If I turn on BYPASS-PRE,
1. only the amplifier preamp works and FX8-effects in the PRE zone are bypassed
(but delay, reverb etc in the POST-zone work) - and that's O.K.
2. But if I turn on Bypass-POST or -ALL, the amplifier goes silent!!
The effects loop in the amplifier is serial.
Apparently relays FX8, they do not close her at this moment.
I think, in the BYPASS-POST/ALL-mode SEND and RETURN from the effects loop they should be shorted, the signal can be delivered to the amp.
