Bug? Losing global settings during boot

Why would you do this? Simply don't play any MIDI until the Axe-Fx completes booting.

I think he's trying to simulate having other gear connected that may have midi sending out, which is the scenario in which a number of people have reported the Axe Fx losing its system settings.

2. Those "cheap USB MIDI interfaces" are notorious for corrupting MIDI data if you stream large files to them.

I am trying to simulate the data sent from a MIDI controller to reproduce the bug that has plagued me, and some others, a couple of times. Most of the MIDI controllers will start sending data right after they are powered up, so simply not sending any data while booting is not an option. As for the cheap interface, I don't think that's the issue as I have hit this bug with multiple MIDI devices.
