Brit Floyd's "Comfortably Numb" Lead Preset!

Fair enough. For me, the goal of a Comortably Numb lead preset is to recreate that iconic tone to the smallest detail, as if what I am playing was an alternate take from the record. I have no interest whatsoever in an approximation that works in today's modern setting. Unfortunately, that's the best I've come up with so far. Even a tone match doesn't quite get me there. Close, but no cigar. Since my band dropped the song, I've quit chasing it.
Go check the show out, if you get a chance. It's always impressive.

It's still available. I just downloaded it. Twice.
Found out what happened, when I searched for this it came up with two other videos that were similar and came out around the same time but don’t have presets with them that’s why I couldn’t find the link

That’ll do it. :)

Another thing you can do is start the video in the forum post, and then click on the word “YouTube” in the video. It’ll take you straight there.

Look at the description right below the actual video. It will have various stuff written and it will say Britfloyd preset. Click on that and it will download it for you.

Ive just had to remove the rotary, one of the drive blocks, and re-arrange a few things, copied the PI Fuzz to channel B of one of the drive blocks, so you'll need to hold/switch those channels maybe. It's a compromise for sure, but I feel it's pretty close. luckily we can have stereo cabs in one cab block, you will need to tweak/adjust to taste,

Im all for keeping as much of the main preset as possible, but when I stripped away the rotary, a second delay, which didn't really seem to do much, and the two drive blocks was just excessive really considering we get 4 channels per block. and made the one remaining cab block stereo, the CPU dropped from 83 (exceeded) to 78, which gave me a bit more headroom to work.

You could span this preset across several presets because of gapless switching, so having multiple drives/delays/rotarys could all work, to a point.

I've only made scene 1, but of course you could adapt/change anything in there.
if anyone wants it, I've attached it. bear in mind, this was done on fw 9.01, and was done in a bit of a hurry! have fun!
