Best way to set up patches via FRFR method?

If you always use the same PA system, would if be wise to create patches with those and then run output 2 to another type of monitor that is different from the Mains and then EQ them to be decent via global 2?

Please advise. I should mention I'm using in ears so the stage monitor is purely for extra oomph and feedback and so fellas can hear me.

If you are always going to use the same PA I would create the patches using it, because that is what your audience will listen.

Having your personal EQ for your own monitoring system sounds like a good idea.
