Axe III's A/D Converter Scaling Parameters VS FM3's Input Pad?

In order to help me with my other test of finding out why my FM3 and Axe Fx III sound different (slightly, but noticeably), I was wondering what setting I should set my Axe Fx III's A/D scaling to (for input 1) in order to best equate to what the FM3's input is set at (since it's not a parameter you can adjust on the FM3). Or, another way of asking this, what input scaling settings match the settings in the FM3's input pad? I assume a higher pad setting means a lower A/D scaling setting, correct? 0dB pad would mean 100 scaling, 6bB pad equals ??? scaling, 12, etc?

Thanks!

Set it so you just barely light the red LED when strumming hard. Same on both units. The inputs are normalized so the exact value is irrelevant.
