Hey all,
I've been working with my Kemper stage connected to the Axe Fx III via spdif for a couple of weeks and it works fine but unfortunately only when I have the Axe Fx's word clock set to SPDIF/AES. I'm using my Axe Fx III as USB audio interface, so I want to be able to record with the Kemper via spdif. If the Axe Fx is set to external word clock, my daw sound won't work. So I think I've set everything up correctly. Since I have a Kemper stage, I can set the spdif to auto (slave) at 48khz. The Kemper even says it's synced with the device at 48khz. Axe Fx is set to word clock internal, SPDIF select: SPDIF. Unfortunately I only get sound when I set the Axe Fx to external... Any ideas on what could be the cause? Cheers!
