Here it is after the delay came back.
I got the delayed chirp to go away for a while and recorded these samples but now it's back. Maybe a bug? First section no full-res, second full res minus 7 dB and final section full res at unity
Ah yes, #61 contains the chirp with delay that is occurring sporadically. My first post was just increasing room levels when the delay was not happeningWhat am I supposed to be listening for? All I hear in the last two samples is more room.
I don't hear it.Ah yes, #61 contains the chirp with delay that is occurring sporadically. My first post was just increasing room levels when the delay was not happening
I have a pretty good collection of IR's that have both 200ms and 500ms versions. Currently I can import the 200ms IR's as UltraRes.I don't understand the question.
Sounds like you'll need a forthcoming update to Axe-Edit (and a mk2 Axe-FX III)I have a pretty good collection of IR's that have both 200ms and 500ms versions. Currently I can import the 200ms IR's as UltraRes.
Will the new update allow me to import the 500ms IR's into the new slots?
It kind of sounds like cymbals in my exampleI don't hear it.
No, it's something else because the artefacts are still there when shortening the FullRes IRs to 256.
Okay, when I Mute or Solo any of the two FullRes IRs the two trailing artefacts disappear...
I don't hear it.Here you hear the trailing artefacts (right > left):

I hear it. It sounds like a slinky spring vibrating - all high pitched noise. Would be easier to demo if you just played brief chords - the style of recording yek and I posted makes it easier to hear.It kind of sounds like cymbals in my example
Those FullRes IRs have around 9 ms of "delay". So you're going to get a slap-back effect if they're mixed high. Look at the traces on the Align page.Okay, when I Mute or Solo any of the two FullRes IRs the two trailing artefacts disappear...
The chirp delay is way more than 9ms, I'd say around half second. Those FullRes IRs have around 9 ms of "delay". So you're going to get a slap-back effect if they're mixed high. Look at the traces on the Align page.
This is because the mic was around 8-9 ft. from the speaker.
Any idea how to get rid of the weird afternote "Cheeee". It stops occurring if I change the two Fullres IRs to Ultrares IRs. I initially thought it was birds chirping outside my window
I have a MK2 and the beta and have loaded the new test IR's.Sounds like you'll need a forthcoming update to Axe-Edit (and a mk2 Axe-FX III)
Definitely hear it at my end. Sounds like a rainstick got moved shortly after the chord. Here you hear the trailing artefacts (right > left):

Ah, I hear it now. I kept stopping playback as soon as the chord was done.
Try reselecting the IR for the last IR slot. It looks as though there's a bug and when you select the IR for slot 3 it's corrupting slot 4.
