Axe-Fx III Firmware 28.04 Release

possible bug? re: FC-12. I'm not sure what happened as I've updated FW countless times but I just updated to this newest FW and my FC-12 is all out of whack. layouts arent' fully displaying. buttons not responding....anyone else? on Axe Edit even the layouts look have been half wiped/erased. Should i have disconnected FC-12 when installing Dynacab 1.07? I have always left my FC-12 connected for FW updates ..maybe I missed something here....
I updated to 28.04 yesterday and all is good in my FC12 world. I don't recall if it was plugged in when I updated or not. I did notice that no notification showed up in Fractal Bot for the update which I found odd. I had already downloaded it and usually do my installs that way, but I did not have a notification in the stand alone Fractal Bot. I know for Beta's, notification does not show, but as far as I understand, this is not a Beta. Hope you had a back up or it is easy enough to resolve!

whatever happened, thankfully I had a backup saved but I'll have to redo my stand in switches and a few minor changes since I had made the backup. Fortunately I don't mess with my settings on the FC much at all. I'm still wondering what I did to botch this up though?!!....

Checked the Axe Fx setings in menu>FC Controllers >STand in Switches and they have been undone. Should i have disconnected FC-12 when installing Dynacab 1.07? I have always have my FC12 connected when updating firmware, and I haven't had this problem within the past couple of years. Glad you had your backup! For me an FC12 backup is important too, because I don't use it at all like it configured from the factory. I erase all the layouts except the last two, which become scenes and presets, respectively. The other layouts are all blank for per preset overrides for songs.

I've heard that shortage is Fractal related; Big Bunny ain't happy!

Fractal dropping eggs all year long...

Bastids... he says!

Tbh I find the idea of releasing a new firmware, during Easter weekend, without any hidden eggs, to be absolutely hilarious. I'm still going to look though.
The only thing I looked at (before and after update) was amps and there was 329 in each ;~(( Hope you find something and it is not spoiled!

I have spent this morning starting to adjust my live presets on the AXEIII after this Firmware update by comparing the same presets I use live on my FM9T (FW8.01). I previously rolled the FM9T back from FW9 as I realised some fine adjustments was going to be required for me to get the tones I want compared to previous FW. Just wanted to point out that some of the changes require significant amendments to return back to the tone on FM9T, with the most significant being to the Tube Pre model in the Amp block. I use this model to emulate acoustic sounds and am really surprised by how much of an EQ difference is required to match the tones. Here is a screenshot of the different EQs that are required to achieve broadly the same tone. Has anyone found this and I wonder if the FAS team would have expected this Amp model to change so much?
