Ah, yes. Only the authentic page is preserved.
So it fucks up SOME (not all) presets.

Chances are the EQ will need to be tweaked a bit to compensate for under the hood changes anyway.

I'm definitely confused about how and when I should reset the amp block in order to preserve the basic BMT settings on all the presets (factory and user). Yes I've read the guidelines.

Any time there is a firmware update that changes under the hood amp settings.

Use Axe edit. In the manage presets section, right click the preset/s and select reset amp block.

Setup>Global>Tone control display>Ideal
Ideal setting leaves those parameters unchanged

Since I don't use all four channels of the Amp block I simply copy the channel I want to update to an unused channel. Then I reset the amp in one of them, and then bounce back and forth to copy my old settings into the reset channel.

Why is it that fractalbot is only showing 23.04 as the available FW for me? I have the most updated version of fractalbot and I downloaded 23.05 to my laptop but I can’t select it- any ideas why I can’t install? I saw someone else had this issue but I didn’t see a response- thanks for any insight!

Everytime when there is change in amp modeling, to get the various "correct" default values in Amp block across all my presets/amps, I always do "manage preset" --> "multi-select" --> "Reset Amp Blocks".

Should I reset amp block with choptones.com presets since there presets does not tell which firmware it is and they don't update there Presets? will it change for the best?

Does this method reset the tone stack on the amp's too? I'm used to doing the old Axe II way of selecting a different model and going back, which does reset the tone stack.

I had the same issue with Fractal-Bot not showing this firmware. I was looking forward to testing it out so I just downloaded it from the link. I unzipped the file and browsed thru Fractal-Bot to the folder where it's located and installed it that way.

I think I read on the forum that Fractal-Bot won't show beta updates but I thought 23.05 is a release version, so I'm now confused.

The links probably just haven't been updated yet. Download the zip file in the first post of this thread and open it. Copy out the .syx firmware file and point Fractal Bot to that file.

I’ll have honeymoonz in 10 days.. I’ll be without fractal for 2 weeks. I’m seriously considering getting fm3 to take that with me

After updating to 23.05 see on the Fractal screen red window "INCORRECT DYNA-CAB FILE VERSION!!! EXIT = CANCEL"
In AXE EDIT III when I try to set dyna-cab in preset I see emty list =/



As I understand it is necessary to download and update new DynaCab file via Fractal Bot.
But I don't understand where I can find it here,
