Axe-FX III as sound interface for..... Cassette deck... does it work?

Greetings all,
Massive clean-out in my "shed" and found old cassette tapes and would be fun to digitalize these. I was then thinking of would it be possible to hook up a cassette deck to the Axe-Fx and record it on my laptop to Audacity or Reaper?

What do you technically intelligent people think?

Is it possible and if so, how to properly connect things?

Of course you can. What is the line output connector of your tape? RCA?
Just connect it to input 2 L/R on the rear side of the Axe-FX, and select that USB input on your software

Thanks... Brilliant. Yeah, RCA on the deck. Now it´s going to be interesting what hideous recording hides on my tapes from the 80s early 90s
