Axe-FX II V10 Factory Preset List

Wouldn't it be great if we had a list of the factory programs so if we wanted to use the swap feature or fetch factory presets from the utility menu we'd be able to see what was what? Well, I needed it so I created it. I also put in in a dropbox folder as a pdf, numbers and excel file. Feel free to grab a copy...

Thanks, I grabbed a copy, and will check it out. I would have probably set up something like this for myself, anyway, so it's great of you to share your files.

Nice! I'm adding a link to your Dropbox to the wiki, because of the Notes field.

Note that you can also use Axe-Manage to list the presets (use List or Details view), "grab" that screen and print or save it.

This is what I was looking for. Thanks for taking the time and sharing it!
 
Enjoy guys! just thought if I could use it maybe someone else could too. I see you can get a list from axe-manage but with this you can edit the doc to layout your patches, mark your fav's and make some notes as to what the amp model and/fx are for a particular patch etc.

I'm waiting for axe-edit 3.0, front panel works fine for most tasks.

Is it possible to load the new bank A presets to bank B on my Axe? All my own patches are in bank A and I don't want to over write term

Thanks Yek! As always, the wiki is a never ending source of useful information.

I do have one question...this wiki page says to use single coil pickups for factory presets. Why is that? Were the presets created with guitars loaded with single coils?

Yes just send Preset Bank A to Bank B on the Axe FX II, you can use Axe Edit 1.9.
 
Hi there,
my first post, I guess ...

I really appreciate the friendly and open attitude of this forum and the massive help, I found as Axe starter.
The Preset lists are a good starting point for own sound research.

Nevertheless: Besides the first 40 or so amp presets I can't find a sheme ... how are the sounds arranged to the 3 banks and ~400 prog. numbers?
They would be easier to browse and compare, if all lead sounds, all special effects, ... were sorted together.
What do you think? Did anybody categorise the presets allready?
