Axe Fx as interface for backing tracks

That worked fine at home with my Macbook, but at the gig's soundcheck, the sound dropped after a minute never to return. When i plug the usb cable, sound comes from te mac speakers, plug it in it recognizes the Axe but no sound.
How to fix this?

I could not live without it!
'ALL' my external routing issues and needs were resolved with such simplicity.

You can have any connected output sources sent to multiple devices via multiple 'Output Device' Blocks.
If you click on any block in your personalized Audio Hijack preset, you will find all the adjustments you need.
i.e LEVEL, DEVICE SELECTION, ETC.
It also has; various processor types i.e. eq, bass/treble, pan, etc.
It doesn't get any simpler than that.

OH.. ....and it has a record (FROM ANYWHERE) mode.

If you have a MAC,...GET it..YOU WON'T REGRET IT!
