Is there any chance that in AXE EDIT, the DELETE BLOCK function only deletes the BLOCK and not the SHUNTS? Then CUT BLOCK, Deletes the BLOCK as well as "CUTS" the SHUNTS. This would make programming and modifying a bit faster!

I don’t know. That works well when that is the desired outcome that you want. But what if it isn’t?

Well, my point is that both Cut and Delete remove the Block and cut the shunts, so why not have one of the options not cut the shunts, just remove the Block?

@FlavAnderson (was supposed to be a reply, but something goofed it up): I don't get your logic behind why one should and one shouldn't do anything to the shunts. A setting that toggles whether or not shunts are removed when a block is either cut or deleted, I'd get that. But why should copy delete the shunts, but cut shouldn't? Or the other way around? That makes no sense, if I'm honest.

You obviously don’t do much tweaking in Axe Edit, because when you are removing a Block the software automatically removes the Shunts, which is annoying because you have to put them all back in, specially if you are just trying different Block positions.

No need to be condescending, friendo: AE removes shunts alongside the blocks. I got that in one.

I don't get your logic behind "let's make it so one function removes shunts and the other does not!" An option in AE settings to toggle shunt removal? Sure. But why should, for instance, "cut" remove shunts and "delete" leave 'em in?

You obviously don’t get logic, because you are saying exactly what I am inquiring about! They both do pretty much the same thing but one copies to the Clipboard! I am asking for one not to delete the shunts so it makes it faster to continue modifying so as not to create a “new toggle setting”… as you say!

I am not saying what you are saying. Maybe you could try reading instead of frothing at the mouth? Cool down.

Not worth it! Have a beautiful day!
Likewise, I'm sure. Maybe some other day, we'll agree on something.

Edit: Just to clear this up: I think creating 2 options/checkboxes in settings like "remove shunts on cut" and "remove shunts on delete" would be the more practical, logical and consistent solution. Everyone could pick their preferred behaviour exactly.
