A new version of Axe-Edit III public beta is now available.

If you are running version 0.05.07 or greater then you can auto-update to the new version. Earlier versions of Axe-Edit III will need to use the links below.

WINDOWS

Release Notes:
  • Added an information dialog box to the preset and cab Picker window. The dialog is displayed when a file is drag-and-dropped onto the Picker window directing the end-user to use Axe-Manage.
  • Corrected a typo in the PITCH block layout.
  • Corrected the IR PLAYER Cabinet Picker to show all cabinet banks.
  • Added help text to the Axe-Manage Browser pane. The text is displayed when the Browser is empty.
  • Corrected Axe-Edit's CPU usage.
  • Added the option "Default to <All Banks> when launching the Cabinet Picker" to the Preferences. This option is checked by default. When this option is checked the Cabinet Picker always opens in <All Banks>. When this option is not checked the Cabinet Picker opens in the currently selected cab bank.
  • Corrected the direct entry of the PITCH Harmony 1, Harmony 2, Harmony 3, and Harmony 4 parameters.
  • Added "Copy current scene to All" to the Scenes / Copy dropdown menu.

Axe-Edit III has been released as a public beta for Mac OS X and Windows.

Axe-Edit III is now in the public beta phase. This lets you try out the pre-release version while you wait for it to be completed. The software has been tested and is found stable enough to be of value to our customers, but as a beta, the application is incomplete and may contain bugs. Some features are missing, while others are limited. It is strongly recommended that you use Fractal-Bot to back up custom presets or system data prior to using this software.

Thanks Michael - the CPU consumption will be a real help.

One idea - love the block library function soooo much, any chance of a channel library function too? ;) (So same idea but just for the current channel not for the whole block)

thanks for this new updapte.
Mike, i don't know if you have read this post on the previous version report:

it's seem there is a bug on the cab block, only on the cab#2 level knob.
the knob didn't keep his right rotary position depending on his setting value.
