Not for Axe-Edit. That's just a remote control program.

You do that sometimes for new firmwares for the AxeFx itself.

This manual refresh is for the Edit program on your computer to find out if it has all the parameters in the AxeFx stored correctly. Mine did a refresh automatically and everything seemed fine. After a couple of days I first read the OP in this thread and I did a manual refresh anyway. 'Cause M@ said so.

All,

Axe-Edit 3.6.0 has been released. It provides full support for the Axe-Fx II running Quantum 2.01.

For this version, it is recommended that you manually choose "Refresh after new FW" from the settings menu after installing.
