AXE 2 squealing issues and level setting advice desperately needed please

Hi there, yeah on high gain patches I'm getting feedback even witht the gate threshhold up pretty high, even to the point of choking the sound. My set up is axe 2 into Mesa 2 50 in stereo into mesa stereo cab. I have checked the power tubes and they are fine. Also has anyone got any hints on setting levels?

Input gate:

69db, 4, 10, 100.

If that fails to work check your wires and guitar for grounding issues.

are you running anything at all between the guitar and axefx. I asked because I have run into this issue 2x. Once was because of an A/B box, the other was a bad guitar cable. You may just need to get a bit further from your cab as well.
