IMO Cliff meant the input option in the I/O menu, not the input in the amp block.

The amp block is mono. So at the input when set to default (l+r) it mixes the left and right signal then process the signal. If your set the input to L or R it will just take its input from there. You can use this with 2 amps to keep a stereo signal (like the stereo delay) in stereo. Basically when you don't want the amp block to sum the left and right signal, you can use the input L or input R.

Try putting a PEQ block with a Q around .707, centered around your EV crossover frequency. Boost it at least +2dB, maybe you'll find it brings some mids back...
