No difference. It's the same product.

The “Made in USA” one was the first to be released but Fractal was having a hard time to keep up with the demand so they just decided to move part of the manufacturing overseas.

But, it is exactly the same product.

Ask him his name, if it says "Flactal" then it comes from China.

And then do a search in the forum old threads. I can't post a direct link because of the post number limitation, but it's pretty easy.

Is there a big difference in sound between the Made in USA and the current models?

Of course there is!!!! Don't you know anything about guitar? The vintage ones always sound better. And you also want the original firmware, v1.0. Make sure the unit was never updated with newer firmware and then reverted back....everything has to be stock original 1's and 0's for that true vintage AX8 sound.

If I recall no. There is slightly different verbiage on the box. Something like Made in the US vs Designed in the US. There is nothing on the unit to tell you where it was made. Fractal didn’t want guys pushing the MIA vs MIC to be a thing
