AX8+FX8= what?

So has anybody gone there?

I've got both now and I'm curious why I haven't heard more about this combination.

I'd like to hear from folks that have been there/done that, as my first attempt was a crash and burn.

I'm referring to how to connect, in's/outs etc.

My way of thinking is to use the AX8 for efx in front of the amp as well as for both pre/post amps on the AX8 and feed that into the FX8 for post stereo effects, which will then feed the actual poweramp.

But since I'm new to this I obviously screwed something up cause it ain't working.

All suggestions welcome.
 
I’ve got both. Minus the floor space needed and setup, it is a great combo. There has been mention of it before just after the AX8 was released. There’s not a lot of talk about it though as only so many people have both and now the III is out, it can basically do what the two floor units combined can do. I’m blown away at the power of the III btw.

Admin M@ mentioned it when the AX8 was in testing and referred to both together as the “killer app”. If you search that term, you find references to posts about combining the two devices.
