AX8 FX Loop - Output 2 No Audio

Trying to help my Dad set up his AX8 again.
Would love Output 1 to go to his Headrush Cabinet and Output 2 to go to his 2x12, much like what I have on my XL+

I put the FX Loop before the cab, just like I do for my XL+ (even tried putting the FX Loop on its own 'lane'), and nothing happens. Output 2 volume knob seems to control nothing. Output 1 controls volume for both signals, but if I turn on the FX Loop, I get absolutely no audio at all.

I can accept the likeliness that I'm just an idiot overlooking something, but I've been overlooking it for an hour now. Any ideas?

You have set up like page 17 of the manual? Also, checked to ensure that the FX loop block or output 2 block volume isn't turned down?

Also, make sure you do not have Out2 set to echo Out1.

Not an issue, really. The presence of the effects loop will override the Echo Out 1 setting.

Welp, knew I was overlooking something. Apparently plugging everything in when it's somewhat dark is ill advised, as I was absolutely plugged into the return, not the send.
