Avoiding OUT1 and XLR to TS for 4 cable method

I see page 38 of the manual recommends to use one of the XLR of output 1 to go back to the FX return amp via a female XLR to male TS mono cable.
However, this means that I lose output q which I could otherwise use to feed into a stereo monitoring system for studio usage.
Instead of that, is there a way to split Output 2 so that the left signal goes to the front of my amp, and the right signal goes into my amp FX return? I can obviously wire it like that, but can the FM3 and FM3-Edit be able to differentiate between the left and the right output of output 2? Is there a way to split and output block I guess is what I’m asking? Alternatively, how can I make sure that I only feed left signal to the left output 2 and right signal to the right of output 2?
