argh...headphone jack advice needed

The headphone jack on my Axe-Fx just re-enacted the old joke about the hooker and the leper, and kept the tip. Plug went in TRS, came out RS.
The tip is stuck in the back of the jack. How the heck can I get it out again?
 
If you have needle nose pliers or some narrow tweezers, you might be able to pull the tip portion out. The tip usually has a long metal pin-like extension that might be visible if you look into the jack with a flashlight.
