This was 10 days ago; now they’ve all turned into beautiful little sprouts.

Oh man! You grow a ton of peppers! What on earth are you going to do with all those Reapers? I grew one last year, and dear sweet Jeebuz those are hot.. it's a weaponized vegetable

One time I was having Thai w/ friends. I bit into a Thai pepper which instantly went nuclear. I downed all the Thai ice tea and beer on the table, my buddy was laughing at me "it can't be that hot bro!" So I said go ahead, try one yourself. He did...

... and now there was nothing to wash it down with. He who laughs last... ;-)

I had a similar experience. Went to lunch with a Vietnamese co worker and had a traditional Pho. There were some peppers on a plate and he was eating them like candy. So I figured they couldn’t be too bad. Bad mistake.

This year I am also planting shishitos for the first time. Mild but very tasty when roasted.

These seemed to be all the rage in SF on my trip last week. And delicious. High variance in the heat level between the peppers on a plate made them a little extra fun to eat.
